Cumbria Community Homes

Helping vulnerable adults in the community

What we do

Cumbria Community Homes provides good quality accommodation to vulnerable adults in the community meeting their individual needs. We help people in Barrow, Ulverston, Askam and Kendal and are looking to expand into other areas in the future.

We help those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, individuals who struggle with mental or physical health or with a learning difficulty, those who are in recovery from substance misuse and people who are fleeing domestic violence.

How we help

If you or someone you know is:

  • homeless or at risk of being homeless,
  • is struggling with mental or physical health or has a learning difficulty,
  • if you or someone you know is in recovery from substance or alcohol misuse
  • or is living in or trying to escape from an abusive partner, family member or neighbours,
  • or is struggling living alone without any support then you can ask us for help by contacting us by email info@cumbriach.org.

You can complete a referral form or get someone else who might already work with you to complete it by clicking HERE. If you do not understand how to do this please call or email us.
